Il panorama competitivo di Final Fantasy Trading Card Game si prepara ad accogliere una nuova versione di un personaggio iconico. Con la nuova espansione FFTCG Opus XXIX arriva sul campo di battaglia una nuova carta dedicata a Kain, il leggendario dragone di Baron. Dopo l'ultimo spoiler di qualche mese fa dedicato al Paladin, siamo quindi pronti a svelarvi questa nuova carta in anteprima.

FFTCG Opus XXIX: le abilità di Kain

Si tratta di un Forward da 5 CP di elemento Fulmine con una potenza di 9000, caratterizzato da un design pulito ed efficace. La sua abilità d'ingresso permette di mandare nella Break Zone un Forward avversario di costo 3 o inferiore. Questa capacità di rimozione immediata offre un vantaggio tattico notevole, specialmente contro mazzi basati su strategie rapide o bloccanti a basso costo. È importante notare che l'abilità può colpire qualsiasi Forward, inclusi i propri, richiedendo dunque attenzione durante il posizionamento. La vera natura aggressiva della carta emerge però nella seconda fase del match. Quando il giocatore ha subito almeno 5 danni, Kain ottiene Haste. Questa abilità trasforma il dragone in una minaccia costante, permettendo di attaccare nello stesso turno in cui viene giocato. La giocata ideale prevede l'ingresso in campo, la rimozione di un ostacolo e l'attacco immediato con la sua forza bruta di 9000. Kain non è una carta universale, ma brilla particolarmente nei mazzi che mirano a punire le curve basse dell'avversario. Il suo valore strategico cresce man mano che la partita prosegue, rendendolo una risorsa preziosa per chiudere i conti quando la pressione sale.

Kain Highwind: perché è così importante

La sua rarità poi è indicata dalla lettera C, ovvero Common (Comune). L’espansione dovrebbe essere in vendita dal 7 agosto 2026 e prenderà il nome di Blissful Eternity.

FFTCG Opus XXIX: Kain's abilities

This is a 5 CP Lightning element Forward with 9000 power, featuring a clean and effective design. His entry ability allows you to send an opponent's Forward of cost 3 or lower to the Break Zone. This immediate removal capacity offers a notable tactical advantage, especially against decks based on fast strategies or low-cost blockers.

It is important to note that the ability can hit any Forward, including your own, thus requiring attention during placement. However, the card's true aggressive nature emerges in the second phase of the match. When the player has taken at least 5 damage, Kain gains Haste. This ability turns the Dragoon into a constant threat, allowing you to attack on the same turn he is played.

The ideal play involves entering the field, removing an obstacle, and immediately attacking with his brute force of 9000.
